Where do I find the User Manual for my light?

Updated 12 October 2026

Before you start

You need the exact model name of your light. Manuals are written for a specific model, and similar-looking fixtures can have different features, connections, and safety information.

Identify your light

  1. Look for the product name on the housing, yoke, or base of the fixture. On most ADJ moving lights, it will be next to the display. On static fixtures, it is often on the yoke of the fixture.

  2. Note the model name as printed on the fixture.

Where to find the User Manual

In the box

All fixtures ship with a printed user manual in the box.

On the ADJ website

Digital manuals are commonly available as PDF files in the downloads section of each product's webpage.

  1. Go to www.adj.com.

  2. Find your product using the menu or search bar.

  3. Scroll down the product webpage to the "Downloads" section.

  4. Select the User Manual and download it.

Other documents you may need

Alongside the User Manual, a product page may list other documents. Which of these exist depends on the product including photometric analysis, CAD drawings, Vectorworks Symbols, etc.

Check that you have the right version

  1. Confirm that the model name on the manual matches the model name on your fixture.

  2. If the manual has a revision number or date, check whether it is the latest one listed.

If your fixture has had a software or firmware update, some menu options or DMX values may differ from older manual revisions.

If you cannot find the manual

  1. Recheck the model name on the fixture. A partial name or a missing suffix can lead to the wrong search result.

  2. Contact the service department with your model name and serial number at support@adj.com and they can email you a copy of the latest user manual.

Safety note

Read the safety information in the manual before you rig, power, or operate the fixture. If you cannot locate the manual, do not install or operate the light until you have the correct documentation for your model.
