Overview
The ADJ WMX1 powered by Wolfmix (all versions) is a compact, fully self-contained DMX lighting controller. It is designed for live event professionals who want a performance-oriented controller that allows them to "play" the lighting rig live in a real-time busking atmosphere.
It's pre-generated effects allow you to get up and running quickly. You can easily select and modify groups of fixtures to have a light show at the ready with a few simple button presses.
DMX Universes
The WMX1 ships with 2 DMX universes (1024 DMX Channels) unlocked out of the box. You have the option to purchase an additional 2 universes, for a total of 4 universes / 2048 DMX channels.
The new Wolfmix WING is coming soon. Adding a Wing automatically unlocks an additional 2 universes, for a total of 4 combined. The maximum upgrade potential is 8 universes when the Wing and WMX1 are used together.
Registering the WMX1
When you first start up your WMX1, you need to register it using the WTools software.
Download the WTools software.
Connect your WMX1 to the computer.
Register the WMX1 via the WTools software.
Registration connects your WMX1 to your account and enables the purchase of additional output channels.
Purchasing Additional DMX Universes
Complete the registration steps above before you purchase. Once your WMX1 is linked to your account, follow these steps.
Go to the settings screen and open the "add-ons" tab. DMX universes are listed, with a check mark beside U1 and U2.
Click U3 and/or U4. A window pops up at the bottom directing you to "buy 1 selected add-on(s) for $XX...", with a "buy" button out to the right.
Click the BUY button. A notice pops up telling you that add-ons are not refundable.
Choose Confirm or Cancel. If you Confirm, a browser window opens for the Nicolaudie store with your shopping card loaded with the add-ons you selected.
Complete the purchase process in the Nicolaudie store. Your device is then updated with the features you purchased.
Purchasing additional universes for the WING
The process for purchasing additional universes is the same for the WING.
